Q. What wine labels do you have?
A. We have a wide variety of whatever our retailers in their stock. In most cases, this includes widely distributed wine labels.

Q. Are Cristal and Dom Perignon, etc. available?
A. Usually.

Q. Gift-wrapping included?
A. Yes always. No extra charge.

Q. Greeting included?
A. Yes, always. No extra charge. Please include the greeting you wish to provide your recipient in the additional notes box during checkout.

Q. What payment methods do you accept? 
A. Online payments are processed via Paypal. You do not need a Paypal account to process your payment. All major credit cards are accepted.

Q. How is your fast service possible?
A. Our huge nationwide network of liquor stores and retailers allow us to utilize their readily available stock. This means that we ship out closer to the recipient’s location and in some cases that means same day delivery.

Q. I don’t know much about champagnes, wines & liquors, can you help me make my selection?

Q. May I request and then be sure that a particular wine label is available?
A. Certainly, but we’ll then have to call our retailer(s) in your gift recipient’s area to be certain it is available (there’s no extra charge for this service).

Q. Which champagne, wine & liquor labels do you have available?
A. We automatically have whatever labels the local retailers currently have on their shelves—and they usually carry the most widely distributed labels.

Q. Are your prices lower than those charged by retailers?
A. No. We usually pay the liquor stores their full retail prices–and then add for our services.

All prices include any state sales taxes, gift-wrapping and delivery charges. In comparison, most retailers usually only quote their retail price—and then add for taxes, gift-wrapping, delivery, etc. Plus we take care of all the ordering and delivery for you!

Q. How are the wine gifts wrapped?
A. The same way retailers have wrapped gifts for many decades. (For example: ribbons, gift bags, or cellophane, etc.)

Q. How much are your Special Order champagnes, wines & liquors?
A. Because the prices of some higher priced champagnes, wines & liquors can vary so greatly from region to region, before quoting prices we sometimes find it necessary to first call the retailer for his prices (at no charge to you). If you do not see a particular item in our online directory, please call 1 (800) 424-2672 or  1 818 387-6401 for international orders.

Q. Why don’t you have a catalogue?
A. Firms that have catalogues often rely on having special inventories available in one or two central locations in each state or area from which they then ship (usually by 3 to 7 day common carrier). This means they can’t offer our same (or next day) service, to virtually anywhere in the U.S., without charging a great deal extra for the service. Our method of partnering with local retailers allows us direct access to their inventory closer to the recipient.

Q. What services do you provide?
A. We’re our clients’ Concierge for gift orders which we then place for them, for actual sale and delivery, with a selected retailer from our nation-wide network of licensed retailers. We also pay the retailer on our clients’ behalf.

Q. Do you ship across state lines?
A. Ordinarily we place each order with selected, licensed retailers within each state.

Q. What about “dry laws”?
A. We are extremely sensitive to each area’s laws and have the benefit of working through licensed retailers. They are best qualified to follow all applicable delivery and shipping rules.

Q. Why does 1 (800) 4 Champagne™, Inc. describe itself as an “agent”?
A. In addition to the service provided, it’s also because our order fulfillment procedures never require us to handle, deliver, ship or take title to your gift merchandise.

Q. How do I send items to more than one person in one order?
A. We are happy to offer the ability to set multiple delivery addresses in one order! You can send multiple items to different people at one address or separate addresses. First, you must have more than one item in your cart for this feature to become available.

Addresses are set during the checkout process by clicking on “Set Address” on the checkout page. From here you will add the name of your gift recipient and enter in their address. Click “Save Address” when you are done. You can add another address by clicking “Add a new delivery address.” You can enter the same address with a different person or add an entirely different location.

When you are done adding addresses, you can select the recipient’s delivery address from the drop down of each item in your cart. When you are finished, hit “Save Addresses and Continue” to finish your checkout process. Note, if you create an account you will be able to access these addresses on future orders.

To leave a personal message for each recipient, scroll down to “Shipping Methods.” Check “This is a gift” and add a personal note for each address in the “Note” field.

All orders are gift wrapped and include your personal greeting.

Purchase wine gifts by the bottle or case and have them sent to the home or office of your recipient.

All prices include any state sales taxes, gift-wrapping and delivery charges.

Due to increased costs and regulations, orders shipped to Canada will incur an additional 12% fee. This fee is added to your total at checkout.

Delivery Policies

General Delivery
We arrange deliveries through our network of local retailers. This helps us ensure we can deliver quickly nationwide —in most cases by today.

Most orders are able to be promptly hand-delivered and gift-wrapped with your message, Monday through Friday and usually Saturdays.

Wine gifts by the bottle or case can now be sent to the homes or offices of your giftees in most cities/towns.

Holiday Season Delivery

We recommend planning for additional transit times by 2-4 days to deliver across the United States during the holiday season, due to increased package volume and potential for weather delays.

Corporate Gifts

Wine deliveries are also ideal for corporate and executive gifts. Often within only hours, most orders can be delivered to the home or office of your gift recipients by one of our participating retailers in their city or town. If hand-delivery is not possible, we have many satisfactory alternative-delivery procedures for wine deliveries.

Age Restrictions

Federal law requires that you must be at least 21 years of age to purchase alcoholic beverages. The recipient accepting the package must also be 21 years of age. 

When you order wine or spirits herein you are certifying under penalty of perjury that you and your gift recipient are each of legal age. It is a crime to intentionally misrepresent your age or that of the gift recipient and if you do so we will fully cooperate in any prosecution.
